The Illusion of Scarcity: How Basic Resources Become Tools of Control

They give us small pieces of those resources required to live, to survive, to breathe, to be mobile, to care about one another, to grapple over and then concede our dignity, our hopes.  They raise gas exponentially, every week, until we the people except exorbitant prices as a gift or decline in prices—when the gas we produce belongs to the ground from which we pay taxes and should be close to free for American in the U.S. A.—and that is not “Socialism”.
